Create a new revision. Keep the original.

Next stop: paid.

Approved. Ready for what’s next.

Their approval saves the agreement and creates the invoice. Then comes the appointment: a time they choose, or one you arrange together.

  1. One tap to say yes.

Accept estimate, right from the link. No signature and no account needed.

  2. Keep the agreement.

The accepted version stays on record and its agreed lines become the invoice. Changes to approved work need a separate estimate.

  3. Choose the next step.

Offer appointment times or arrange the visit yourself. A required deposit confirms a held time when paid before its deadline.

Questions about estimates.

Approvals, counters, deposits, and the AI that drafts the lines.

How do customers say yes?

They open the link you text or email and tap “Accept estimate”, without creating an account. Their approval is saved against that version and an invoice is created from the agreed lines. Without a deposit, it stays a draft until you issue it. Booking a time is a separate next step.

Can they push back on the price?

Yes. “Request changes” lets them explain what needs adjusting and propose a price when counteroffers are enabled. Revise and share a new version for them to review; the earlier quote stays in the history. Customers can also decline without proposing changes.

Can I ask for a deposit?

Yes, as a dollar amount or percentage. It carries over to the invoice. When a customer selects an appointment that requires a deposit, the time is held for 15 minutes. Paying before that deadline confirms it; an expired hold needs a new time.

Can I add materials, taxes and discounts?

Yes. Lines sit under services or materials at your price book prices. One sales tax rate applies to the lines you mark as taxed, and a discount in dollars or percent comes off the total.

Can AI help me write it?

Two ways. On an estimate tied to a lead or job, “Draft from their request” writes the lines from the lead’s request using your price book prices. Work it can’t match is priced toward the lead’s price or left at $0 for you to fill in, and Undo takes it all back. “Write it for me” writes the customer-facing words for one line. You check everything before it goes.

Can I email it or send a PDF?

Yes. Email or text the estimate link, copy it to share yourself, or download a PDF. Texting from your business number needs approved carrier registration. The link keeps approval, requested changes, and the next booking step together.
