OnSiteCall

No hot water since Tuesday.

Fix the leak. Text the bill.

The 7 AM drain call, the water heater estimate, the customer who needs you back in the spring. Keep the work moving from request to invoice.

The sink’s backing up again.

Drain calls land with a photo.

Customers describe the problem on your website form and attach a photo of the leak or the heater label. You see it before you drive out.

  1. Photos before the drive.

Up to 8 photos on the form. The heater label tells you the size before you leave the shop.

  2. Chat that knows your prices.

The website chat answers from your price book, so a drain clearing gets quoted at your rate.

  3. A time they can pick.

The form offers open slots from your calendar, with your travel buffer.

  1. Flat where it’s simple.

A service call or a drain clearing has one price. The customer sees it on the form and in chat.

  2. A range for the big ones.

A water heater is $1,850 to $3,200 until you know the venting. Quote the range, bill the number.

  3. Parts beside the labor.

Materials keep your cost and your price side by side, so the margin is on every line.

Leak fixed. Bill sent.

Take the photo of the fix, add the lines from your price book, and text the invoice before you pull away.

Dry by dinner.

Fifty gallons, gas, 2020.

The heater’s on file before the call.

Make, model, serial and install date, saved against the customer. When they call about the heater, you already know which one it is and whether it’s still covered.

Water heaters and boilers are two of the app’s equipment types. Anything 12 years or older shows in amber, and a warranty ending inside 120 days gets a flag.

The yearly flush, on the calendar.

Put the water heater flush or the boiler service on a once-a-year plan. The visit shows up on the board and the tech’s phone, and the invoice goes out when it’s done.

One tech per plan. If they’re booked, the visit goes on the board unassigned.

  1. Once a year, same week.

Pick the month and the weekday. A visit that lands on a day you’re closed moves to the next open day.

  2. Invoiced when it’s done.

Per visit, or a flat yearly price. The pay link can go out by text on its own.

  3. Skip one, keep the plan.

Skip a single visit and put it back later. End the plan and no more invoices are made.

Start with a draft.

Set up for plumbing.

The app drafts a plumbing price book you edit, picks the documents your trade needs, and keeps the heater and boiler on file per customer.

Questions plumbing owners ask.

Your prices, your customers, and the way your shop works.

Can customers send a photo of the leak?

Yes. Your website form takes up to 8 photos, and customers can text photos to your business number. Both land on the lead with the request.

Can I keep water heaters on file?

Yes. Save the make, model, serial number, install date and warranty end against the customer. The app shows the unit’s age and warranty status.

Can I put the yearly flush on a plan?

Yes. A once-a-year plan puts the visit on the calendar in the month you pick, invoices it when it’s done, and can text the pay link on its own.

How do new requests come in?

From the form and chat on your website, or you add one yourself in a few seconds. Phone calls ring your own phone; they are not turned into leads for you.

Can I text customers from a business number?

Yes. Pick a local number and complete brand and campaign registration. Texting starts after approval and number linking; review times vary. OnSiteCall covers the registration fees.

Can my techs see my prices?

Only if you let them. Seeing prices in the field and adding items to a job are both off for technicians until you turn them on.

What happens when the crew loses signal?

Previously loaded job details stay available. Key field updates, checklists, photos, signatures, and receipts save on the phone and sync when the connection returns. Supported time punches also save offline with their original times. Text delivery and card processing need a connection.
